about

"A Place To Call My Own" is absolutely about finding the sweet spot, the white picket fence; whatever that is for someone. Coming to the conclusion in my life that cellphones have ultimately changed the way we live and carry out our life.

The 2nd verse tackles how much cellphones are integrated into our society. "The air that we breathe has been filled with WIFI streams": this alludes to the fact that at certain times I want to careless and free. Though I don't want videos of me dancing to end up on the internet. From the way conversations are had now to dating, the world's different and as intriguing as that is. The more difficult it is to manage an effective sense of mental health.

lyrics

LYRICS:

People living life through cellphone screens
Awkward folks live in television scenes
I wonder if my life will ever come
The older I get, the more I feel alone

Tryin to find a place to call my own x2
trying to find the place

ooh's

we seem so close but we are all alone
you said how you felt but the text lacked tone
the air that we breathe has been filled with wifi streams
I can't seem to recall what that really means

Tryin to find a place to call my own x2
trying to find the place
